Fire Department

Waterloo Fire & Rescue is a combination department serving the City of Waterloo and surrounding townships with a commitment to professionalism, readiness, and community-focused service. Our team consists of dedicated full‑time staff and highly trained volunteer members who respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Together, we provide fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, and public safety education. 

 Waterloo Fire & Rescue continues to evolve to meet the growing needs of the area. Our members train regularly in fire operations, EMS, and specialized responses to ensure rapid, effective service during any emergency. We work closely with neighboring fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and regional partners to strengthen interoperability and enhance public safety across the area.
